Our Team The Investments SupportGroup is part of our broader Operations Department. It is the main point ofcontact for Investors and Managed Solutions teams for operational activitiesacross all products for the International Private Bank. This team isresponsible for supporting the business in various locations for EMEA, ASIA andLATAM. A close coordination with the US Private Bank team is also required tomake the support global. The team is located in Geneva, London, Edinburgh,Mumbai, Singapore and Hong Kong
The group has fiveprimary functions.
Supporting the investment teams and resolving all trading issues that occur.
Project management, requirement review and prioritization, operating model definition, testing and production release of any technical changes to applications used by investment teams.
Manage the implementation of technical changes through investor training and expedient resolution of any post release issues.
Centralized management of entitlements, which can be modified resulting from business changes, or require access gatekeeping for audit and control reasons.
Business analytics function to support investment teams with data analytics.
The principal objectiveof the team lead role is to manage day to day support of investor support andprovide dedicated and centralized support to the investment teams encompassingthe below but not restricted to:
Understanding productflows and resolving any issues related to trades on mutual funds, hedge funds,private equity, core products (FX, loans, deposits, equities, fixed income),listed options, securitised derivatives and OTC derivatives.
Daily contact withinvestment professionals, technology, internal clients, and other supportfunctions throughout the world.
Analysis of Investorqueries to improve the support model
Investor trainingcoordination and delivery
Review and testing ofany technical changes to applications used by investment teams
Participation/Lead instrategic projects
In addition to thevariety of tasks performed to support each product strong emphasis is alsoplaced on the ability to prioritize tasks and communicate efficiently with keypartners.
The teams' role is verybroad and will change significantly in the coming years. The candidate musthave the ability to drive the strategic objective and communicateappropriately. In addition, he/she must demonstrate an exceptional capacity toexercise good judgment under pressure.
The team lead is alsoresponsible for tracking team capacity and report to senior management and keystakeholders on regular basis on achievement and challenges the teamfaces. Partner closely with technologyand other operational teams to identify strategic process improvement areas andtactical solution on problematic cases and workflow. The candidate shouldhave relevant middle office / trade support experience in one or several of theabove mentioned products, minimum 8 years in a reputable bank, fundadministrator or financial institution and now looking to take on a newchallenge in a growing, fast paced and ever changing environment. Candidatesshould in addition have the following attributes:
