Broad unlisted investments mandate with private equity style investing
My client is a global and leading alternatives fund manager with several investment strategies. They manage several high profile mandates with over $6 billion in assets under management and an impressive track record of investors returns over many years (over 18% for more than 20 years). They see an opportunity in their coverage of unlisted markets and are looking to add an Investment Analyst/Associate to bolster these efforts. Sectors targeted are broad but are within industries that have strong demographic drivers and high barriers to entry which have included: Food production and processing; petrol stations/retail, data centres, aged care, renewable energy, student accommodation.
The Investment Analyst will work closely with the Investment Director with responsibility for analysing potential new investments including research into wider industry dynamics, running commercial and financial due diligence, developing investment committee papers and client presentations, managing transaction related processes and occasional work with portfolio companies.
You will come from a M&A, project finance or corporate finance background with a demonstrated skill set in building Investment DCF models from first principles in an investment environment.
We will be considering candidates with around 2-5 years experience. You must have Australian permanent residency.
