Within this role, you'll be providing strategic direction for the Company's various UK and EU compliance and governance programs, making recommendations to enhance current assessment models, and support the US-based Compliance leadership team.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with our policies and procedures and other governing standards or requirements. The individual in this role will promote ethical behaviour, facilitate ethical decision-making, and contribute to compliance management activities and functions in support of the company.
ABOUT YOU As our ideal candidate, you'll be:
Degree/Master's degree qualified in a relevant discipline (or with equivalent experience)
Significant experience in a senior compliance role, ideally in the financial services or private equity sector.
Experience with compliance and oversight of board managed investment funds.
General knowledge of Alternative Investment Fund Management Directive (AIFMD), LSE rules, anti-money laundering rules, and governance requirements, and related regulations; experience with regulatory filings.
Understanding of and experience overseeing compliance with the UK Bribery Act, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and anti-money laundering laws preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to act with impact and influence - providing leadership and direction to colleagues and managers to drive results.
Highly organised, detail oriented, with strong time management, research, and analytic skills
Flexible and collaborative in your approach to work, with resilience to be effective in a in fast-paced change environment.
