The firm invests across several sectors, specialising in building meaningful relationships with their portfolio companies to develop them to their fullest potential. They have a great entrepreneurial culture and have been especially strong at building dealflow from Mittelstand companies, while being very active on new investments and exits. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Involvement in all phases of the investment cycle, among others this will include:
Sourcing new investment opportunities,
Investment analysis across various investment situations and industries,
Due diligence work and other deal execution tasks,
Detailed financial analysis,
Financial modelling,
Preparation of financing-related and internal approval documents, and,
Monitoring portfolio companies
YOUR PROFILE:
Professional experience in M&A from a mid-sized investment bank, boutique or consulting firm and it is important that you have been involved in private equity deals already
Exposure to growth industries, as the firm is increasingly active in this space
Top class analytical skills and great commercial judgment, spotting of value opportunities and the ability to build deals around them
Demonstration of a strong market network and cultural fit with Mittelstand owners
Native German language and fluent English skills are a must
Great interpersonal style
The role is intended to develop within the team so you must show credibility and maturity
