JOB SUMMARY As Hana continues to expand & grow, this role is responsible for supporting global operating teams including Operations, Sales, Delivery, Marketing, and Human Resources. This position is responsible for leading, managing and executing management reporting, forecasting, budgeting, financial planning and analysis related to Hana field operations as well as new initiatives and projects. The role requires strong FP&A skills to provide essential information and advisory to business leaders on key performance indicators including financial performance, sales effectiveness, client satisfaction and employee engagement. This role is a key business partner to the Finance, Underwriting, Accounting, Procurement, Client Care & Strategy Teams. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Model and prepare forecasts, budgets and reporting packages including unit sales, marketing, and operations performance, unit capital investment and operating key performance indicators for individual unit, region and company performance weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually. Reporting audiences include a variety of Hana internal and external stakeholders.
- Support corporate Finance and Accounting teams in month-end, quarter-end and year-end close leading the process with region leaders. Provide monthly department budget variance reports to support expense controls. Review and research accounting transactions for business leaders. May prepare commentary and explanation of variances for management review.
- Lead and manage on-going forecasting process and annual budgeting process with global field leadership. Execute forecasting and budget processes through completion and handover to Corporate Finance on behalf of global field teams. Research and collect input from multiple internal and external resources.
- Collaborate closely with and serve as essential financial support to functions including: Operations, Sales, Marketing, Delivery/Construction and global field leaders. Provide analytics, reporting, tracking and benchmarking of team initiatives as directed. Provide insights and recommendations for revenue creation and cost-savings to decision-makers.
- Partner with global and unit leadership providing financial planning and analysis to improve unit and region performance. Establish methods for benchmarking, comparisons, and documentation and dissemination of best demonstrated practice. Assist in communicating necessary actions or findings.
- Collaborate effectively to ensure internal processes and standards are integrated and streamlined for effective and efficient business operations reporting. Provide support to ensure proper alignment with and execution of Corporate Finance and Accounting practice and procedure.
- Maintain global pricing platform, develop and refresh asset pricing models and reporting related to pricing and promotional strategies. Provide financial planning and analysis support to Pricing Strategy Team.
- Participate in Hana performance calls providing subject matter expertise related to financial performance, financial management best practice, and performance improvement.
- Support performance and process improvement by engaging appropriate resources in issue identification, action plans and tracking execution.
- May train new team members on financial management, policies, procedures, processes, administration and governance. Cross train as back-up for other staff in case of emergencies.
- Work on other company projects as directed.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES - Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university with a strong academic record required. Business, Finance, Math or related field preferred. Graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience working in B2B or B2C distributed business models. Services, Retail, Hospitality, or Private Equity experience preferred.
- Experience scaling a business, and global growth preferred.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve complex problems involving several options in situations.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills required.
- Advanced proficiency in essential platforms including Excel, and other relevant software platforms. Experience in Domo, Power BI, Smartsheet and Tableau preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of professional skills development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial planning and analysis and previous work product required as part of interview process.
