Fund Financial Controller - Investment Management - ACA

Goodman Masson are looking for a qualified accountant to join a Private Equity institution as a Fund Financial Controller. The company are an infrastructure investment manager which has an interesting portfolio - focusing on many high-profile infrastructure projects that are regularly in the news.

To give some clarity to the position, the role is effectively for a head of finance for a fund in which responsibilities include due diligence of target investments, investment appraisals, modelling, valuations, tax structuring, analysing portfolio performance, business partnering with the wider business and working closely with the Asset Management team to name a few - in short, lots to get involved in! You will also be responsible for reporting on portfolio performance, as well as monitoring the progress of new investments.

Experience: -

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Fund exposure (preferable but not essential)
• Good modelling skills - VBA, vlookup etc (preferable)
• Strong teamwork ethics
• Proactive in their approach to all tasks
