Position Description:  Acquisitions Associate

The Acquisitions Associate will be a part of the Acquisitions Team located in the West Coast office in Newport Beach, CA with the primary responsibility of underwriting new acquisitions. This position will work closely with senior acquisition partners in evaluating, underwriting and transacting potential investments.

Essential Job Functions:

• Prepare sophisticated financial models in underwriting investment opportunities and reporting to the Acquisition Team in the viability of potential acquisitions
• Prepare detailed investment memoranda for Acquisition Committee presentations
• Interface with business partners, lenders, lawyers and investment sales/brokerage community
• Assist the Acquisition Team with all analytical and transactional aspects of an acquisition, including market research, due diligence, financing, structuring, negotiating and closing on new acquisitions
• Work closely with internal Asset Management team to support the due diligence process
• Support management in analysis and modeling of financial and business scenarios
• Occasional travel may be required
