Fund Accountant, Private Equity

Our client is a significant player in the Private Equity market. A new role has been created for a newly/recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) to develop key skills within Fund Accounting. You don't need prior experience and will very likely be coming from accounting practice (Big 4/Top 20 firms preferred) with excellent academics and communication skills. Ideally, you will have financial services exposure. A great first role out of audit!

The Role:

• Review the quarterly accounts prepared by the external fund administrators
• Work with Investor Relations to deliver fund performance analysis to investors
• Prepare, deliver and co-ordinate the year-end fund audits
• Liaise with Investment teams on new and existing deals from a liquidity perspective
• Execute FX trades, manage loan facility utilisations and negotiate transaction terms
• Deliver regular reporting to senior management

Requirements:

• You must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• You are likely to be newly/recently qualified, from a top tier accounting firm, with excellent academics
• Financial services experience from your accounting client base, either through auditing corporate entities or funds (ideally)
• Able to work as part of a team and have excellent, all round communication skills
