We are looking for a Manager, Product Strategy to support portfolio strategy across Carat. In this highly visible position, you will partner with product leads, cross-functional teams, and senior leadership to manage Carat's portfolio strategy, reporting, and growth. On a day-to-day basis, you will be heavily involved in both immediate and long-term product strategy:
Define the product and portfolio strategy for Carat aligned to strategic growth imperatives in partnership with senior leadership, product leads, and cross-functional teams Drive collaboration across product and key cross-functional partners (e.g., engineering, sales, marketing, commercialization) Partner with product leads to set annual growth targets and define key initiatives Track and manage ongoing business insights (e.g., revenue, volumes, win rate) for the group which will continue to inform strategy Drive key tasks as required by the organization and serve a critical support function for asks and projects from the leadership team
A successful for the Manager, Product Strategy role will be able to do the following:
Become an expert in product features and functionality, client needs, and regional differences while also being able to take a step back to identify cross-product themes and portfolio strategy Synthesize anecdotal, quantitative and qualitative inputs to tell a compelling, streamlined, and comprehensive story Consistently and autonomously lead workstreams to commercial success Effectively build relationships across product, cross-functional teams, and senior leadership Bring multiple leadership teams together to drive consensus, challenge assumptions and provide program level detail Challenge the status quo to push the team forward
Basic qualifications for consideration: Will to win mentality Demonstrated ability to thrive in highly ambitious and fast-paced settings with minimal guidance Excellent communications skills and ability to distill complex topics in a clear and succinct manner, no matter what the medium (e.g. memos, reports, presentations, meetings). 5+ years' experience in product, corporate strategy and development, payments, investment banking, and/or private equity. Prior experience in, and knowledge of, payments, fintech, and software industries
