Position Description: Seven Valleys seeks to recruit a General Counsel. Reporting to the President, the GC will be the sole in-house counsel at the Company and will manage all of its legal needs. He or she will be a dynamic attorney with sufficient experience and judgment to work and make decisions independently, and be a true generalist in the needs of a single family office. The role will require both direct work product and the effective supervision of external counsel in diverse areas of operations.

Company: Seven Valleys is a New York City-based single-family office. The family office manages a multi-billion-dollar portfolio across investments in commercial real estate, venture capital, private equity, fine art, and public securities. Seven Valleys is responsible for sourcing, oversight, reporting, risk management, and more with respect to these investments. Seven Valleys is located in midtown Manhattan. 

Experience: The ideal candidate is an attorney with 12 or more years of relevant experience including a combination of a major law firm experience and senior level in-house counsel experience at a family office, private equity firm, wealth management group or trust company. Prior experience with trusts and estates and asset protection matters would be welcomed.

Compensation: An attractive compensation package that includes a competitive base and bonus.
