The Position: Senior Account Manager, LCD (Leveraged Commentary & Data)
The Location: New York, US

The Role: The role is responsible for managing Banking & Private Equity clients the US and Canada
What's in it for you: This role will allow you to work with LCD's Banking & Private Equity client base and should appeal to those excited by the opportunity to work within a highly focused, fast paced organization. The role will also allow you to have a hand in shaping and driving forward the growth agenda for the region.
The Impact: You will drive account growth and new business development by proactively reaching out to end users for training, demos, and custom account configurations and leading all commercial negotiations.
In this role you will:
* Drive account annual contract value ('ACV') growth through both renewals as well as up sell and cross sell opportunities within the book of business.
* Develop and maintain a long-term growth strategy for the book of business
* Provide a first-class client experience by guiding clients through product set up and working with the Product Specialist team to support ongoing training requirements and new product demos.
* Track client interactions (call/meeting notes) and critical ongoing discussions in Salesforce
Skills & Qualifications:
For this role, the Senior Account Manager will require a clear understanding of how these key client segments operate and are likely to use the intellectual property and tools offered by the LCD business. More specific capabilities include:
* 5+ years in relationship management and/or new business roles in the market and reference data industry
* Knowledge of Banking & Private Equity workflows strongly preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to support high quality engagement with product users as well as market data and department head stakeholders
* Goal and action orientated with ability and desire to work towards revenue targets within a team environment
* Willingness to travel
S&P Global has entered an agreement to divest LCD to Morningstar. The close of the transaction is anticipated to be early Q3 2022. It is expected that this role would be part of the divestiture transaction and would be transferred to Morningstar.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $145,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
