RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the AIMS Client Portfolio Solutions public equity and fixed income activity in the Asia Pacific ex-Japan region.
Strategize with key stakeholders across various businesses to design, implement and execute the next stages of business growth across all client channels in Asia.
Engage significantly with the Private Wealth Management (PWM) business in the region to ensure that the available products are sufficiently tailored to meet the specific objectives of the Asia client base.
Meet with clients and prospects in the region on the long only manager selection process and specific strategies. Host internal calls on these topics as well.
Collaborate with global AIMS team members to appropriately prioritize the pipeline of new products and manage their launch.
Work with the PWM discretionary portfolio management team to opine on market and manager performance, portfolio construction and manager pairings across model portfolios.
Act as a touch-point for important relationships between the AIMS Group and key global fund houses with a presence in Asia.
Engage with the Goldman Sachs institutional sales teams to pitch business opportunities to large prospective institutional clients in Asia.
Work alongside AIMS Client Portfolio Solutions team members in Asia on cross-asset class initiatives, including the expansion of our platforms into onshore China.
Host regular calls with senior AIMS personnel in our US offices to ensure the timely dissemination of important client and business updates to our leadership team.
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
Excellent time, people and project management skills
Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members in multiple groups and regions
Written and verbal communication skills in English; additional Asian language proficiency will be additive
