About our client Our client is a private equity fund which is on an aggressive growth trajectory and is therefore looking to hire a Finance Manager to its finance function. You will play a key role in the growth of the business, working across fund finance, investment and corporate accounting, alongside other ad hoc portfolio responsibilities. This varied role will also act as a key business partner for other middle and front office functions. What the job involves
Preparing quarterly investor fund reports and statutory financial statements
Oversight of outsourced fund administration team which encompasses review of quarterly fund financials and management of fund liquidity, calls, distributions, payments, management fee calculations, investor queries and investment recommendations
Fund cash flow modelling projections and performance forecasting
Take ownership of group management accounts, regulatory submissions, audit and tax affairs
Portfolio monitoring including the quarterly valuations process which involves liaising with the deal team on an ad-hoc basis
Group cash forecasting including input into advisory fee process
Who we are looking for
Qualified Accountant; sound understanding of relevant UK GAAP and IFRS, with strong experience in a similar role
Excellent commercial judgement and analytical ability, and familiarity with venture capital
Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
Highly proficient in Google Sheets/Excel, with strong modelling and analytical skills
Meticulous attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
High quality communication skills, both written and verbal
