We are working with a leading and highly acquisitive wind energy company, backed by an impressive and well capitalised Private Equity fund. The company has a strong track record of successfully targeting off-market opportunities. Combining this with the highly capitalised backing fund makes for an interesting opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to move into a role with strong deal flow within a business and industry that is witnessing unprecedented growth and activity. The business has a well-defined strategy and is now looking for an Investment Manager to join its team.
What the job involves

• Overseeing and coordinating the due diligence process for new wind park acquisitions
• Overseeing and coordinating the valuation and investment committee presentations
• Assist in the structuring and negotiations of investments, both from a commercial and technical perspective
• Participating in the negotiation and preparation of the legal documentation
• Co-responsibility for the timely integrated reporting, budget and forecast process with a focus on high planning quality
• Co-operation in preparation and presentation of the monthly operational reporting
• Support of the annual audit process in Germany and UK

Who we are looking for

• Experience in buying or selling wind farm portfolios
• Significant experience of company valuations at an asset level, likely from a specialised team in an advisory firm
• Strong modelling and valuations skills are essential
• Proficient in German is a plus but not a must
