About our client
We are working with a premier international real estate fund that continues to expand its presence in Mexico. The fund has an exciting new position for a Project Director at one of its most exclusive developments in Baja California Sur (BCS), Mexico. The ideal candidate boasts knowledge and experience in project development and construction of 5+ star hotels and luxury residences, preferably garnered at beach/seaside locations. The position is based near San Jose del Cabo, BCS, Mexico.
What the job involves

• Manage all phases of projects (due diligence, concept, pre-construction, construction, close-out and post construction)
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource identification
• Lead in-site investigations, permitting, environmental and feasibility studies
• Review and negotiate contractor construction agreements with the assistance of in-house and external counsel
• Prepare presentations, reports, analyses and information packets at various stages in the development process to help drive decisions
• Work as a trouble shooter, planning ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging issues
• Provide regular updates on the projects advances to internal and external stakeholders
• Manage third-party architects, consultants, and suppliers

Who we are looking for

• Skilled Project Director with ample hands-on experience and knowledge in project management and development, ideally 5+ star hotels and luxury residences
• Charismatic leader who can motivate project teams to accomplish goals
• Skilled in handling multiple tasks, with the ability to deliver against budget, schedules and quite frequently under pressure
• Excellent managerial skills, one who can delegate and work well with others
• MUST have bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
