About our client
Our client is a leading international alternative asset management group with continued success in the mid-market. Based in London, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join the highly ambitious and growing Investor Relations team with a focus towards their Credit products. Looking to expand their success within the midmarket, you will take on a strategic role servicing the existing investor base and project managing the existing and future fund raises. The firm is currently fundraising making this an exciting time to join.
The individual will work closely with the Head of PM in leading on the project management of current and future fundraises in the IR Credit team. Additionally, this person will be responsible for delivering high-quality client services to the existing institutional investor base. This person will work closely with the credit sales professionals and have oversight of the juniors in the team who will support them in producing key analyses and reports for investors.
What the job involves

• Work closely with the Head of Project Management on managing all project management aspects of the IR function and strategic initiatives
• Lead the execution of all fundraising activities, optimising investor communication and coordinating the investors' information needs through Due Diligence requests and on-site visits
• Drive the preparation and maintenance of marketing materials including, but not limited to, investor presentations, Private Placement Memorandum and Due Diligence materials during fundraising and in between fundraisings
• Lead the preparation and coordination of Annual Investor Meetings and half-yearly Investor Meetings
• Handle all ad-hoc investor queries, liaising with the appropriate investment teams where necessary to ensure high quality responses are provided in a timely manner

Who we are looking for

• Experience in project management within an investor relations team or placement agent or a traditional asset manager, ideally with an alternative credit platform
• Exposure to credit and / or knowledge or interest in the credit space is strongly desired though not a prerequisite
• Strong academic background
• Strong financial and analytical skills and excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Strategic, confident and able to handle complex situations with a high degree of maturity
