About our client We are currently working with an established Northern European private equity firm who make control investments in growth-oriented northern European businesses. With a strong focus on responsible investment and ESG, they pride themselves on having a positive environmental and social impact across their portfolio. They are now looking for an Investor Relations Director to join their highly successful team. This role can be based either in Munich or in one of the Nordic offices. What the job involves The incoming candidate will be in a collaborative, client-facing role, and will be involved in all aspects of the IR process. This opportunity would be well-suited to an Investor Relations professional who brings a wealth of experience and industry connections and is excited by continuously improving processes and further developing the investor relations function.
Establish and develop lasting relationships with investors
Provide end-to-end support for fundraising processes
Drive the preparation and updates of key marketing and due diligence materials and documents
Drive the planning and execution of investor update webinars, events, and meetings
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on developments in the firm's portfolio and the asset management industry
Responsible for developing and maintaining key IR analyses and benchmarks
Maintain overview of fund documentation and key operational processes, working closely with internal teams to support investor requests and operational due diligence
Who we are looking for
Relevant experience in client relationship management, ideally with a background in private markets, investor relations or portfolio management. Other backgrounds such as investment banking or management consulting will also be considered
Outstanding communication skills, with ability to establish relationships quickly and convey complex information clearly and concisely
Highly organised with excellent project management and leadership skills
Proven ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects efficiently
Excellent command of verbal and written English. Fluency in German or in any Nordic language is considered a plus
