The ideal candidate will demonstrate ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, International Finance, Financial Markets, FinTech, Risk Management, Real Estate, Financial Planning, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Financial Modeling.

Faculty are expected to:

• Teach 24 credit hours per year with a 3-6 hour reduction for scholarly work.
• Teach courses in the academic undergraduate major and related academic graduate programs.
• Pursue appropriate scholarly research, including but not limited to publishing in peer reviewed academic journals.
• Maintain SA status for AACSB accreditation purposes.

In addition to teaching and research duties, applicants will be expected to:

• Advise and mentor students in course and career planning, research, and class-related projects. Engage in activities to support the mission and vision of Lipscomb University and the academic department and college.
• Engage in intellectual pursuits and professional development.
• Engage in departmental and interdepartmental collaboration to benefit the program, college, university, and students.
