Overview: Reporting to East West Bank’s Deputy General Counsel, the AGC will help direct the Bank’s ongoing litigation and pre-litigation strategy, effectively managing and resolving the Bank’s litigation and internal investigation matters. The AGC will also support the Bank’s legal team in other areas, including handling a broad range of commercial agreements and other projects/legal areas, as needed.

Experience: 7+ years of relevant litigation experience, ideally gained in a nationally recognized law firm, handling a variety of complex litigation matters, including significant expertise in law and motion practice, collaborating with management on pre-litigation strategy, and handling internal investigations. Must be adept at recognizing and evaluating risk factors arising from business decisions and operations and advising and working with various business units to formulate and employ risk management techniques. Should have familiarity and some experience with banking/financial services, operations, and regulations. Mandarin language is a plus but is not required.
Compensation: Competitive package commensurate with experience.
Location: Pasadena, CA. Hybrid 3 days/week in-office required.
