Under the direction of the Director, Svider Private Equity Program, manages, administers, and grows a portfolio of new and existing programs, events, and initiatives for Chicago Booth MBA students and alumni related to ETA and venture capital, including but not limited to the Private Equity and Venture Capital Lab, the Venture Capital Investment Competition, the ETA Conference, the ETA Advisory Board, and the ETA Podcast. The work includes program management from inception to completion, including application processing, coordination of guest speakers, mentors, and judges; coordination of selection processes for participants in programs; survey creation and administration; and coordination with the Polsky marketing team on awareness- and brand- building efforts.
Collects and analyzes program data; conducts ongoing needs and impact assessments of programs.
Liaise and engages regularly with entrepreneurship-related student groups to assist in planning and delivering related programming.
Advises students on appropriate career-related topics and guides them toward programs aligned with their interests.
Under the guidance of Directors and Associate Directors, identifies areas of need, strategically plan and implement new programming to meet needs, and ensures coordination of programming with other Polsky Center initiatives and audiences.
As appropriate, liaise with relevant offices and departments (Alumni Relations and Development, Career Services, Admissions, etc.) to identify collaboration opportunities, develop partnership programs, market programs and events, support philanthropic efforts, and manage communication with student constituents.
Actively attends and represents the Polsky Center at programs and networking events throughout the City of Chicago and occasionally outside the city.
Advises, supports, and recommends concepts for programming to leaders of various organizations and programs.
Markets student activities programming throughout the year. Develops and implements protocols for evaluating the effectiveness of programs.
Performs other related work as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience:
At least one year of experience managing programs and/or events.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Comfort using software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook email systems, and a willing to learn and gain comfort with new software.

Proven understanding of the Polsky Center and its goals.
Working Conditions
This position is currently expected to work a minimum three days per week in the office.
Travel between Hyde Park campus and downtown Gleacher Center. Please note that this position is based on the Hyde Park campus; 90% of time will be spent in Hyde Park with occasional events and meetings downtown.
Flexibility to occasionally work late or start early for Polsky Center events.
