Our client is a leading European oral care roll-up platform with current operations in the Nordics, UK, DACH and Benelux, backed by one of Scandinavia's leading PE firms.
They are a rapidly growing organisation that combines organic and inorganic levers and has demonstrated over 20% yearly growth over the recent years. Our client has developed a highly professional M&A approach with "PE quality and style" process and resources, which is unique among "buy-and-build" platforms. They have executed more than 180 transactions over the past 5 years, steering its inorganic growth effort via a group. and several local-level M&A teams.
They are now looking to hire a Senior Manager (BD and M&A) to join their Amsterdam-based Benelux country team.

This position will work closely with our client's Dutch and Belgium management teams in connection with sourcing, conducting due diligence and negotiating M&A transactions; additionally, there will be frequent interaction with the Group CEO/CFO, financial sponsors, and the board in relation to strategic M&A transactions and projects. What the job involves
Source M&A targets (single site, multi-site) in Netherlands and Belgium
Lead due diligence workstreams and execute transactions
Collaborate with the Dutch and Belgium management teams on integrating the acquired sites
Conduct deal and due diligence work together with other members of the M&A team and leverage knowledge and experience of relevant management team members and external service providers (for LDD / FDD)
Set up yearly / periodical growth strategy for Netherlands and Belgium, including defining key focus areas and priorities
Develop M&A systems and tools including underwriting models, funnel management tools, standard deal structures/docs
Assess entry into new countries / verticals / business models in the value chain
Who we are looking for
Previous experience in investment banking with focus on M&A execution (i.e. M&A or industry team) as well as corporate development with a strong preference for PE-backed companies and/or buy and build plays.
End-to-end deal experience (DD, legal, process, management of advisors, etc.)
Strong technical skills (BP modelling, valuation, deal structures) as well as good commercial understanding
Experience with conducting a large number of small / mid-sized transactions is a plus
Excellent communication skills, ability to work closely with the senior management team as well as with entrepreneurs and small business owners
Motivated and self-driven with ability to multitask across projects
Fluency in Dutch and English is a must; ideally with work experience in the Netherlands
