Alternatives Capital Formation (ACF) is a part of the Client Solutions Group (CSG) within Asset & Wealth Management (AWM). ACF manages capital raising and strategy for alternatives investments across the full spectrum of alternatives including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, growth equity, sustainability, secondaries, GP stakes, and hedge funds / liquid alternatives.
Within ACF, team members work within product verticals and collaborate across strategies to identify portfolio-wide solutions. They also partner with other teams within ACF, and across CSG, investing teams and wealth management teams. Professional development initiatives provide opportunities to enhance expertise across all alternative investment products, and to sharpen market knowledge from industry experts investing across the Firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Support Senior Credit Product Specialists in leading the launch of new funds
Collaborate with stakeholders across firm, define strategic direction of fund, develop and execute go-to-market strategies for fund, define target investors, draft marketing materials, track order book versus goals, closely coordinate with fund financing team
Select Investor interaction with existing institutional investors on due diligence inquiries, regular portfolio updates, ongoing investor requests and ad hoc client projects
Help complete due diligence questionnaires, quarterly/monthly client/consultant questionnaires; prioritize and manage workflow in context of multiple competing priorities
Produce and update investor materials, including marketing presentations, performance and data analysis, update calls; Utilize intelligence gained from investor inquiry to thoughtfully construct investor materials and effectively sell fund
Coordinate closely with investment team and other internal stakeholders such as legal, risk management, operations, compliance, controllers and tax in order to effectively respond to inbound investor requests and inquiries
Effectively articulate the role of private credit strategies within an investor's portfolio and explain to internal and external stakeholders the investment strategy
Respond to questions internally from senior management and salespeople across all sales channels (private wealth, institutional, third-party distribution) related to the platform
1-4 years in a similar or related role
Strong interest in private markets
Excellent communication (written and oral), analytical and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills to manage production of a high volume of quality work within tight timeframes, often including multiple simultaneous projects
Attention to detail-proven experience of delivering high levels of accuracy
Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
Candidate must be a team player and self-motivated, demonstrating a willingness to take on more responsibility over time
Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $90000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
