Our client, a prestigious global investment firm with a strong track record, offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join their public markets team. Based in Doha, you will be instrumental in the development and strategic planning of funds and the public asset portfolio. This role involves close collaboration with external investment managers and coordination with internal teams. What the job involves

• Lead the strategic planning efforts for new funds and existing public asset portfolio
• Collaborate closely with external investment managers to optimise portfolio performance
• Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams to ensure alignment with overall investment objectives
• Contribute to the development and growth of the public assets team within the prestigious global investment firm

Who we are looking for

• An experienced strategist with proven track record of contributing to the development of strategic plans for funds and sub-asset classes
• Candidates with a background in large alternative asset managers and boutiques, particularly those with a deep understanding of GCC/MENA equities. Knowledge in other asset classes and fixed income is highly desirable
• A track record of successfully identifying and selecting long-only public investors, showcasing a history of strategic decision-making that led to positive economic impact and achievement of key performance indicators
• Collaborative team player, capable of coordinating efforts with external investment managers and working seamlessly with internal and regional teams
• An individual with an innovative mindset, capable of contributing to the growth and development of the public assets team within a prestigious global investment firm
