We are working with a highly regarded UK growth and lower mid-market private equity fund who are looking to hire a dedicated IR/Fundraising professional to work in a 360 capacity. They generate market leading returns and have an excellent track record of growing businesses in the Consumer, Technology, Financial Services, Transport, Specialist Manufacturing, Business Services and Hospitality sectors. Due to growth, they are now looking for an experienced Investor Relations professional to help them establish and build their Investor Relations function from the ground up. This position will involve planning and pre-marketing their next fund which is due to launch in 2025. What the job involves
Work closely with the senior partners getting to know the investor base and contribute to the proactive outreach programme to existing and potential investors
Prepare investor materials: fund collateral, fundraising documents, client pitches and presentations
Manage diligence processes through to investor onboarding
Ensure all investor requests are dealt with in a timely manner
Interface and develop relationships with third party distributors (placement agents and introducers)
Engage professionally and collaboratively with internal stake holders including investment professionals, finance and operations
Lead on internal and external communication including PR, website and all investor materials
Drive future fundraising efforts - from strategy development through to the preparation of documentation and investor outreach
Lead the agenda and content development for key annual events - AGMs, LPACs, Advisory Board meetings
Take responsibility for on-going investor queries and requests
Help to further professionalise the investor experience by bringing in new, creative, and additive processes
Who we are looking for
Previous relevant private markets experience in investor relations at a GP or placement agent
Demonstrable ability to build LP relationships and broaden investor networks
Exposure to or knowledge of private equity strategies is highly desirable
Excellent project management skills and an ability to take ownership and drive projects in a disciplined manner
Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
Desire to become part of a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment with a greater upwards trajectory
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate dynamism and a collegiate, hands-on approach.
